Jennifer Lopez will rock the house again with new single "Ain't Your Mama," which she will be performing on American Idol's finale on Thursday. Lopez took to social media and gave fans a teaser video that will have many swinging their booties.
To keep fans at the edge of their seats, Jenny from the block didn't have any qualms recording a short 15-second clip where she was lip syncing a part of the chorus of "Ain't Your Mama." She did this while in the dressing room, preparing for a Fox show, according to E! Online.
Curious as to the lyrics, here's what Lopez spilled so far, "I ain't gonna cook all day, I ain't your mama. I ain't gonna do your laundry, I ain't your mama, boy, I ain't your mama." She looked so cool lip syncing the lines and it didn't take long for Twitter followers to feel her beat.
The songstress will be initially performing "Ain't Your Mama" on American Idol this Thursday, April 7, and fans will subsequently be able to download it. Brace yourselves guys and better make sure your Internet connection will be up to the race as millions of J.Lo. fans out there will surely be waiting for it.
One thing that makes this Lopez new single a total blast is that "All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor wrote the song for J.Lo., Just Jared reported. The 22-year-old singer/composer was very happy at having written the song for Lopez. The day after she performed at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, she posted Lopez's teaser clip on her Instagram account captioned, "When dreams come true." Boy, she must have been so proud!
Lopez new single "Ain't Your Mama" is the first one that Lopez will be releasing under Epic Records. The second will also be highly anticipated. If this will hit the charts, then J.Lo. should consider having Meghan Trainor write the second song for her.
