Ubisoft's "The Division" has continued to surpass all the expectations in the game industry. And despite earning $330 million worldwide, "The Division" developers revealed that they will be releasing a DLC content soon.
Following the release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" early in March, Ubisoft's third person action shooter video game quickly became the publisher's most successful title. Aside from leaving other games in its shadows, "The Division" also broke several records including a new record for one day sales as well as the highest number of units sold in its first week, as previously reported.
Now, "The Division" development team revealed some information about the game's upcoming DLC content. And here are 3 exciting details about "The Division" DLC.
1. "The Division" Free DLC Expansion
During last week's livestream event, Ubisoft unveiled "The Division" first free DLC expansion, "Incursion." It will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms, Daily Express notes.
"The Division Incursion" DLC, the first of two free expansions, will include a new endgame activity for squad play that aims to reward victorious teams with high-level loot. A new loot-trading feature is also available and the Falcon Lost setting, which is a completely new, underground water-treatment plant that became the Last Man Battalion's stronghold.
2. "The Division" DLC Changes and Additions
New changes will also happen in "The Division" DLC. According to Digital Spy, the game's "Incursions" update will have a new gear with four gear sets including Sentry's Call, Striker's Battle Gear, Path of the Nomad and Technician's Authority.
As for new additions, "The Division" DLC will include supply drops falling from the sky in the Dark Zone. Players can boost their abilities beyond the agent level cap of 30 through the gear score as will also be able to camera-follow their teammates, especially when their Agent dies.
3. "The Division" First Free DLC Release Date
Ubisoft announced on Mar. 31 that "The Division" DLC titled, "Incursions," will be released on Apr. 12. It be followed by another free update called, "Conflict," but no specific release date has been announced, Digital Trends reveals.
Moreover, another special incursion will also be added to New York's Columbus Circle and new features for Dark Zone. Ubisoft is also planning three additional "The Division" paid DLC expansions called "Underground," "Survival" and "Last Stand," which will feature new additional areas to the open-world New York.
