Apple has recently announced its newest addition to its iPhone line - the iPhone SE. The smartphone resembles an iPhone 5 but has the colors and power of an iPhone 6s.
According to The Star, the new iPhone release has a 4-inch screen and comes in rose gold, space grey, silver and gold colors. Its powerful internal features like the A9 processor and M9 motion coprocessor are the same with the Apple's 6s release.
It was also noted that this iPhone has 12-megapixel camera that has a 4k video recording capability and can support Live Photos. Its secondary camera, on the other hand, is at 1.2 megapixels.
Ars Technica added that the phone can brag about its improved and "superior battery life." It explained that the chips inside the iPhone SE are already improved which means the power consumption factor has also been developed.
"In our standard Wi-Fi browsing test, the SE actually outlasts the iPhone 6S by a couple of hours, and it even beats the longer-lasting 6S Plus by a comfortable margin," the same report reveals. It also claimed that many Apple users will be delighted with its battery performance which is way better than earlier versions.
It was added in The Star report that the phone is also one of the cheapest offerings of Apple at $399 and $499 for the 16GB and 64GB variants respectively. It is expected to be available un more than 100 countries by the end of May.
MacRumors said people in the United States will experience the device early on since it is expected to be delivered for those who pre-ordered from April 22 - 27. As early as now, it was noted that the newest iPhone is already out of stock in various retail outlets in the US like Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Seattle.
