Actress Charlize Theron is set to do a movie about parenting with director Jason Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody. The film is expected to focus on motherhood and Theron is the main star.
The Guardian reported that the movie still does not have a working title and its details are still unknown but what is sure is that it will tackle parenting. It was added by Channel 24 that the story of the movie will draw inspiration from her experiences as a parent.
The same report also said that this project will be a comeback movie for Reitman, who worked on the successful movie "Juno," melodrama "Labor Day," and comedy "Men, Women & Children." Fans are excited what the director has in store for the public this time.
It was added in The Guardian report that this movie will be an added project to the busy schedule of the 40-year-old actress who is filming the thriller "The Coldest City." Theron is also expected to be part of "American Express" which will also star Amanda Seyfried and David Oyelowo.
This is going to be an exciting project to the public since she was previously criticized for dragging his crying son from a busy parking space. RedBook said the mother received negative opinions from the users because of the way she dealt with her kid.
"She's got to find out what's on his mind by asking him and letting him talk about his feelings," said psychotherapist Dr. Gilda Carle. "Not dragging him around."
Another expert said that properly dealing with kids when they have tantrums or they do not feel like behaving should be properly studied since children still do not know what is logical and what is not.
"Kids this age think magically, not logically," said psychology professor Gina Mireault in the RedBook report. "Events that are ordinary to us are confusing and scary to them."
