Many are very excited for the next installment of "Dark Souls." "Dark Souls 3" is just three days away from its release in the west and its publisher is very good at building the hype. A new report suggests that Bandai Namco took its creativity to the heights with their new promotional footage for "Dark Souls 3."
According to VG247, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill were interviewed around the release of their film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." The two were asked about their thoughts regarding the negative critical response of the film where Henry Cavill did all the talking, leaving Affleck on his seat staring at nothing.
It seemed that the "Batman" star was thinking of his time playing the "Souls" series. GameSpot reported that the said interview was quickly turned into a meme when the Simon and Garfunkel song "The Sound of Silence" was added onto it.
The official "Dark Souls" Twitter account enhanced the clip, where they added footage of numerous deaths from "Dark Souls" games. It appeared that the two "Batman V Stars" actors were reacting to the memories of playing the past "Dark Souls games."
What makes the footage so funny is that the video plays while Affleck is just sitting there looking sad. He seems to be thinking of something else during the interview and the "Dark Soul" footage and the song are just perfect. If you haven't watched the clip, check it out below.

Meanwhile, fans are torn whether "Dark Souls 3" should include an "easy mode" or not. International Business Times suggests that adding an "easy mode" in the upcoming "Dark Souls 3" title will be helpful. However, it notes that the "easy mode" should be optional, not enforced.
On the other hand, Erik Kain of Forbes disagrees. Per Kain "Dark Souls", games aren't difficult and players do not run out of lives. He explained that one of the factors that make the "Souls" series so memorable is its level of difficulty. It's how the game is designed.
"Dark Souls 3" is already available in Japan, but it will be launched in North America and Europe on Apr. 12. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco will make a big announcement about "Dark Souls 3" today.
