A woman chronicles the first time she ever attempted to lose weight by creating a video that featured the first 100 days of her weight loss adventure, according to FOX News.
LaKeisha Shurn of Berkeley, California posted short videos to the site Giveit100.com. On her page, she mentions that her goal is to lose weight and learn how to love herself in 365 days. Shurn also created a compilation of her first 100 days at the gym, which has gone viral and has gained her fans from all over the world.
Celebrity trainer, Jillian Michaels, posted on her own Facebook page, saying: "I've never met this woman, but watched her video blog. What a bad a**. Bravo. Get it girl!" Shurn's video that has already been viewed 460,000 times as of late, shows that her starting weight was at 348 pounds. "I have low self-esteem. I am going through depression, and I want to change all of that. The next 100 days, I will be on the journey of losing weight and finding myself," she said.
Also in the video, LaKeisha shows how she dropped from a size 26 to a size 22, all while keeping a positive attitude. Over the 100-day period, she has already lost 18 pounds. Shern closes the short video by saying: "I have to learn a lot of things, and there's still more to go. And I'm super excited to do it, and I hope you join me along the way."
