Kate Hudson Parenting: 'Kung Fu Panda' Star Writes Essay On Raising Two Sons

Actress Kate Hudson shared her experience in parenting her two children. The mom admitted her struggles in raising her kids thus prompting her to entitle her piece as "Sometimes I Feel Like a Bad Mom."

According to People, the 36-year-old actress has recognized that balancing work and being a mom is not an easy thing to do. She also shared that dealing with her kids is one of the most challenging things to do. Hudson has a 12-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and another boy, 4-year-old Bingham, with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy.

"I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So, our relationship has always been [a little unusual]. I mean, we're close, and I am his mom. I'm big on manners," Hudson wrote on her essay published by InStyle for their issue this May. "I'm big on politeness. I'm big on gratitude. But I'm a bit of a wild mom."

However, the "Kung Fu Panda 3" actress claimed that she is not always the best mother for her two sons. Hudson explained that she sometimes hide from them inside their own house.

It was also mentioned in her InStyle essay that she devotes time to help her kids with their homework but claims that it can get boring. "I will sit and listen to my children pontificate and discuss their ideas till the day is long because it warms my heart, but I really don't want to do math!" she added.

Aside from motherhood, the actress also touched on her relationship with her friends Sara Foster, Jennifer Meyer and Nicole Richie, as per People. She said that she enjoys being in their company more than anyone else.

The essay also highlighted rumors of her dating singer Nick Jonas. But Hudson simply claimed that almost all the people she goes out with turn out to be her "mystery man." "It really feels like high school. I can't say hello to anybody without [people speculating we're together]," she noted.
