Virtual reality (VR) is definitely the latest trend today that promises to give a more realistic experience through the use of modern technology. But just recently, a new innovation called the virtual reality "sex suits" emerged, promising men to experience futuristic sex simulation on their own.
As virtual reality generates a different audiovisual experience, pornography seems to be leading the charge. For Japanese developer Tenga, however, their virtual reality sex suit invention known as the "Full Body Virtual Interface" is a much better way to experience intimacy through a virtually non-existent partner.
The virtual reality sex suits recently became the talk-of-the-town after videos of its functionality circulated online. Though it looks weird seeing a man gropes a pair of rubber boobs while a flash light hangs over his private part, Tenga said the virtual reality sex suit is "revolutionizing sexual pleasure, bringing sexuality to the forefront for all to enjoy," Daily Mirror notes.
How does virtual reality sex suit work?
By using the virtual reality sex suit kit that includes a headset similar to Oculus rift, a bodysuit with sensors attached and moving machine with breast-like additions, wearers can be able to experience sex virtually. The sensors will be sending impulses all over the wearer's body, creating a feeling "like another human being is touching them."
How much does virtual reality sex suit cost?
Tenga's sexually stimulating virtual reality invention has surely caught the attention of several men out there. Unfortunately, the sex suit is currently sold out and it costs $400, Inside Reality reveals.
Does virtual reality sex suits provide hi-tech sex experience simulation at its worst?
The concept of virtual reality sex looks promising and appealing to some, but Maxim claims it is the "single weirdest and most disturbing application of virtual reality to sex." The publication also says that the virtual reality sex suit was "too horrifying for words" while GQ adds the device only "emulates several different clumsy teenage sexual encounters."
Other reviews and articles from Mic and Elite Daily also seem to echo Maxim and GQ's thoughts on the latest virtual reality sex suit invention. But Tenga CEO Tsuneki Sato told Motherboard that their virtual reality sex suit could be the "future of masturbation."
If you are a man, would you have sex with Tenga's virtual reality sex suit? For ladies, would you allow your partner to masturbate using Tenga's VR contraption?
