Tom Clancy's "The Division" is perhaps one of the most successful video games today. While the Ubisoft game has already broke several records and surpass the expectation of game experts in the industry, "The Division" developers are still striving for perfection as new updates and changes will come to the game this week.
In the "Incursion" update of "The Division" on Apr. 12, four new gear set will be offered as prizes. According to Forbes, a complete list of perks and bonuses for each set were also revealed and the new gears include: Striker's Battlegear, Path of the Nomad, Tactician's Authority and Sentry's Call.
"We are introducing three high-end weapons and four top-of-the-line gear sets that fit different gameplay styles: Tactician's Authority for a support role; Striker's Battlegear for a damage dealer; Sentry's Call for snipers; and Path of the Nomad for explorers and solo players," "The Division" game director Peter Mannerfelt said, as per Tech Times.
"The Division" Striker's Battlegear
"The Division" Striker's Battlegear has set bonuses of additional 20 percent enemy armor damage and 100 percent critical hit damage. Its final set bonus is the shooter talent, where every consecutive hit mean additional one percent enemy damage.
"The Division" Path of the Nomad
"The Division" Path of the Nomad, on the other hand, offers set bonuses of additional 50 percent scavenging and 20 percent health on kill. Its final bonus is the nomad talent, where players will be healed completely when receiving fatal damage and this can occur every 10 minutes.
"The Division" Tactician's Authority
"The Division" Tactician's Authority provides additional 4,000 skillpower and 20 percent skill haste in its second and third bonuses. As for the fourth one, its talent is the so-called Tactician's Authority, where one percent skillpower is added whenever the team deals with 60,000 damage.
"The Division" Sentry's Call
In "The Division" Sentry's Call, set bonuses include an additional 30 percent headshot damage and 20 percent damage to elites. The final bonus is the stalker talent, where every headshot mark increases the damage on the target by 15 percent in a span of 10 seconds each.
In addition to the new gear sets in Tom Clancy's "The Division," Polygon reveals that some of the major changes will affect the player-vs-player area called the Dark Zone. Mannerfelt said an airdrop of supplies will happen in the area.
The "Falcon Lost Incursion" update is also set to rebalance "The Division" crafting system. Meanwhile, Ubisoft will reportedly introduce a new player reporting system in "The Division" that will allow players to alert the game publisher of bad behavior and cheating, Design & Trend notes.
