Fathers play a big role in the lives of their children and for the entire family. Dads can be everything in the eyes of their kids and their jobs as a father never ends as long as they have their children to guide.
According to Daily News Journal, a dad's offspring will always be their babies as they remain to be behind their age and experience. However, time will come when a father needs to be ready to let their grownup child live on their own.
1. Even when the kids are away, fathers impart wisdom.
But even if dads' kid flies free, they will happily stay by their side and ready to give their words of wisdom. Fathers only have to think of the proper way how well they impart their prudence to their child.
"... more than 9 million children in this country growing up without an adult role model in their life," Bill Russell, a former professional basketball player, said. For Russell, who is also a founder member of MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, everyone can be a dad's child by simply giving inspiration and showing a little care.
2. Dads will always lead the way.
Dads will keep on motivating their kids, no matter what their age is, and stays to be a role model, a mentor - a leader. Sooner or later, a father will have another moniker added to his title, a grandfather -- which he definitely will be looking forward to!
As granddad or a father himself, dads will continue to be a symbol of strength for the family and entitled to be respected. Hence, children opt to follow their father's lead.
3. It takes a lot to be a good dad.
Huffington Post added that every man can become a father but not everyone can be a good dad. Fathers have a vital role for the emotional state of their children as they are their disciplinarians and protectors.
4. On-hand fathers lead to better development.
Research revealed that an on-hand father who shows affection, support and well-involved to the growth of their child can help their kids' development. Aside from that, it has a great contribution to the child's psychological growth, social development, academic achievement, stronger inner core, self-esteem and much more.
