Megan Fox showed her baby bump -- her third pregnancy -- during this week's CinemaCon red carpet event. Shortly after revealing her pregnancy, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" star shared her parenting style in an interview.
Parenting Style
Though her upcoming film is kid-friendly, Fox makes it a point to steer her young sons away from television and film. The actress shares two kids named Noah Shannon and Bodhi Ransom with Brian Austin Green, whom she divorced in August 2015 after five years of marriage.
"Noah is too young and I try to keep them from television and movies for the most part. I think any sort of screen -- whether it's television, iPad or iPhone -- is really bad for their brain development so I try to remove that from their lives and I also want to deter them from ever being on social media because I think it's detrimental to a child's self-esteem. I have lots of opinions on this," Fox told E! News.
Despite her refusal to immerse her kids in technology and social media, Fox said she allows them to watch Pixar movies. She also revealed that the boys don't have any idea that she's an actress.
Fox stars alongside Stephen Amell and Will Arnett in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2." The movie will bow in theaters on June 3.
Pending Divorce
Fox and Green have been spotted together in multiple events despite the divorce news. Both were seen on family outings around Los Angeles with or without their sons. According to court documents, the two's divorce is still pending, a separate report from E! News stated.
In 2014, Fox admitted in an interview with Men's Health that her marriage with Green wasn't always rainbows and butterflies. The 29-year-old actress said "arguments are normal" and marriage isn't always perfect. There are going to be instances when you will not get along or communicate well with your partner.
"You have to be patient and sit through that and remember that this is a part of human communication and interaction... Brian is my soul mate. I happen to believe that" Megan Fox explained to Men's Health. "He's definitely meant to be the father of my children. That makes it easier for me to work through things, because I always see the spiritual side of things. I look at the end game."
As for her upcoming birthday on May 16, Fox said she isn't planning on having a big celebration. For her, birthdays are just another normal day.
