Diehard Potterheads were definitely thrilled after the new trailer for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was released during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. The teaser revealed some interesting details about the upcoming "Harry Potter" prequel.

The upcoming film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," is reportedly the first part of J.K. Rowling's latest wizarding trilogy and it is set to premiere in theaters in November. As the new trailer for the "Harry Potter" prequel was released, here are 3 latest scoops we've learned about Rowling's upcoming movie.

1. The Albus Dumbledore connection in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

In the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" trailer, the name of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore was mentioned. According to USA Today, Dumbledore was responsible for letting Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) stay at Hogwarts after he was kicked out for putting a human's life in jeopardy with a beast.

2. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" features new magical creatures.

In the upcoming film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Harry Potter" fans will see some new magical creatures. Mashable reveals that the movie will include Nifflers and the strange creature known as Swooping Evil.

For the descriptions of the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" creatures, Nifflers are reportedly "small, pig-like creatures" that Hagrid introduced in his Care of Magical Creatures class in the first book of the "Harry Potter" series. Swooping Evil, on the other hand, was described as "a large, butterfly-like creature" that resembles an exotic bird, as per Pottermore.

3. Other "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" details.

Aside from the aforementioned scoops, the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" trailer also give a glimpse of New York and its own wizard paper. In addition, fans also get to see Colin Farrell as Percival Graves.

What was more interesting in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," however, was Scamander's suitcase, where it got some claw-like hands inside. The suitcase is also big enough that Scamander can even get himself inside.

Meanwhile, Redmayne and Farrell are also joined by Jon Voight, Ezra Miller and Samantha Morton as cast members in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The "Harry Potter" prequel is set to be released on Nov. 18, CNN reports.
