'The Voice' Season 10 News & Update: Miley Cyrus And Adam Levine In Feud; Christina Aguilera Fired

"The Voice" Season 10 is filled with unending drama from Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani's feud over the red chair, now to Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus' petty quarrels. What's wrong with "The Voice" Season 10 and it seems that the coaches and mentors are not getting along well?

Miley Cyrus vs. Adam Levine on "The Voice" Season 10

According to reports, Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine are too similar that they can't get to agree with each other. "They both have short attention spans," one insider told US Weekly. "They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin."

Although Miley Cyrus had a hard time with Adam Levine, she gets along well with Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera. "Blake and Miley got along extremely well!" added the source.

Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams Out In "The Voice" Season 11

Amidst the brewing trouble between the "The Voice" Season 10 coaches and mentors, two coaches will join the panel and two will be out. Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams will no longer be coaches in the next season of "The Voice."

According to MovieNewsGuide, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will take over the vacated seats. Per US Weekly, Miley Cyrus already confirmed her new role in the next season of "The Voice." "It's true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice @NBCTheVoice #thevoice," she tweeted.

Thus, Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus' issues will get further until next season.

Meanwhile, one source revealed that Alicia Keys is selected as one of the coaches on "The Voice" season 11 because she's a female and the producers want a second woman alongside Miley Cyrus to increase the chances of the first woman coach to win. However, it seems odd that they only choose her because she's a woman. If so, "The Voice" could have retained Christina Aguilera or bring back Gwen Stefani.

Aside from that, the insider revealed that Alicia's background in music is another reason. "Alicia has that R&B background that covers the other musical genres," the source told Hollywood Life. "With Pharrell gone, Alicia appeals to the soulful audience nicely."
