According to the outlet, James and Woodley were spotted having lunch at a restaurant in Hollywood. The "Allegiant" stars seemed very close together and were even spotted sharing a kiss while waiting for the bill.
"They were holding hands and they even shared dessert. When they were waiting for the bill, James leaned in for a kiss and they seemed very passionate towards each other," shared an insider.
While many fans were thrilled to hear progress in Theo James and Shailene Woodley's relationship, it would be wise to note that the above-mentioned report was only an April Fools' article. However, both James and Woodley have been very vocal about their relationship in several interviews.
In an interview with Fresno Bee, James admitted that he and Woodley hoped that their onscreen relationship did not seem fake to the audience.
"The hard part of playing the relationship is making sure it doesn't feel artificial. Hopefully, we did that with this movie," said James.
James also expressed excitement towards the last installment of the "Divergent" series entitled "Ascendant." Fans are wondering if the last installment of the YA movie franchise will follow the ending of Veronica Roth's books, which will see the death of a major character.
