Players are becoming frustrated with their performance in the action role-playing game "Dark Souls 3." Many have expressed disappointment with the level of difficulty of the challenges.
The Financial Post said players are making little progress when playing the game saying that their time and effort seem wasted because of "Dark Soul 3's" pace. "Over the course of several nights of play that sense of frustration—and of wasted time —would grow until eventually I stopped playing and never resumed," said video game reporter Chad Sapieha in his Financial Post report.
He, however, noted that a gamer's perseverance to move on to other stages of the game would play a key role in the completion of this latest offering. Sapieha said gamers will surely "get hooked" to "Dark Souls 3" if they follow these tips:
Allot time for play sessions
The reporter advised players through his Financial Post write-up that they should set aside two to three hours to play the game. He explained that an hour-long session or lesser will not be enough for a player to attain progress. Sapieha said that longer sessions will result in stronger characters and more accomplishments for the player.
2. Make use of bows and arrows
According to Kotaku, a gamer must learn how to properly utilize the bows and arrows in the game. It explained that an arrow can be used to make enemies chase after you. A bow, it added, also gives players the advantage they need in the game. "Learn to love being cheap and dirty with the bow and arrow; there's no shame in it," advised Kotaku.
3. Learn to strategize
Polygon noted players should figure out how they can outclass their enemies by planning their moves and analyzing the moves of their foes. It added that proper attention to what your enemies do will help a lot in one's defense and attack strategies.
