'Cards Against Humanity' Parenting Edition Is Coolest Game For Moms And Dads To Unwind

A husband and wife team, who are big fans of the "Cards Against Humanity" game, have come up with their own version for parents. The popular party game is usually a great ice breaker and stress reliever. Now, moms and dads who want to unwind after a long weekend can do so in the coolest and funniest way.

Wayan and Amy Vota developed KinderPerfect, which comes with 200 cards filled with questions and answers about the joys and pains of parenting. "Our aim is to take the everyday pain of parenthood and make it into an excuse for mommy juice," the couple wrote on their official site.

Production for the game cards has yet to begin as the Votas set up their Kickstarter funding. They are encouraging other parents to share more card ideas and if the campaign is a success, the "Cards Against Humanity" parenting version could be distributed beginning July 4.

How Is "Card Against Humanity" Played?

A group of high school friends originally came up with the "Cards Against Humanity" concept. To play the game, players are handed out a batch of black and white cards. Black cards are for questions that must be matched with answers from the white cards. Sometimes, the matches don't make sense, which is part of what makes the game fun. How Is The Parenting Version Played?

For KinderPerfect, the questions come from a set of red cards, instead of black, but the Votas suggest playing this simultaneously with the original "Card Against Humanity" set so that there are more options. Sample questions include "What's that smell?" or "Why is Mommy mad?" The Votas got these from their own experiences as parents to young girls, ages five and seven.

"Like every parent, we love our kids, but they can drive us crazy," said Wayan via Huffington Post. "It's their antics, and those of other children, that inspired many of the cards." The beauty of the game is that it can be played with a group of friends or individually and it will still be amusing. It's recommended for moms and dads who need to chill.
