"Transformers 5" Holds Audition for Lead and Supporting Roles
TFormers reported that "Transformers 5" is opening auditions for a new lead and supporting roles in Los Angeles, Michigan and London. According to Acting Auditions, casting for lead and supporting roles are cast through talent agents. However, for talents who want to self-submit, they can do so. The instructions are on the site.
On a separate note, Maryellen Aviano, Michael Bay's long-time extras casting coordinator will schedule an open casting call for "Transformers 5" soon. At the time, the details and registration information is not available, but they will be updating it, once it is ready.
Previous Cast Will Return In "Transformers 5"
Fans will surely see new faces in "Transformers 5" but the film will be more comfortable and familiar when you see old faces. Per the reports, Mark Wahlberg will reprise his role in "Transformers 5." Also, Peter Cullen will return to voice the autobot leader "Optimus Prime." Michael Bay will take the directorial chair for "Transformers 5." The director already disclosed that this would be his last.

Meanwhile, Variety reported that "Transformers 5" received $21 million to shoot in Detroit. The studio and state anticipated that "Transformers 5" will hire 850 cast and crew, 450 of which will be Michigan locals, equating to 228-full time positions. Aside from this, 700 extras are expected.
"Transformers 5" will begin shooting on June 15, 2016. "Transformers 5" will also shoot in London and United Kingdom.
"Transformers 5" will hit the big screens on June 23, 2017.
