Jennie Finch Confused, Help Her to Choose Third Child's Name

Popular American softball player, Jennie Finch, is struggling to find a suitable name for her third child, a baby girl due in January.

The 32-year-old former Olympic softball star and her husband Casey Daigle are parents to two boys - Ace Shane and Diesel Dean. Naming her two older sons was pretty easy, according to Finch as Daigle suggested the names even before they tied the knot.

"My husband and I had just started dating and he was like, 'Hey, I have to run something by you. I always told myself that my first boy would be named Ace, so I just want to make sure if this all works out, you'd be okay with Ace,'" Finch, told People magazine. "I was like, 'Where did that come from?!' In some ways it was super cute because he was already thinking down the road."

Both of the parents were of the same opinion when naming their second son, Diesel.

"We liked Diesel when I was pregnant with Ace. We knew we liked those two names, but obviously our first was going to be Ace," she told the People. "So we were like, 'All right, he's going to be Diesel.'"

The couple is stumped and have yet to decide a name for their unborn baby girl.

During the chat, she expressed her desire to go for traditional names.

"Everyone is expecting something crazy and outrageous with having Ace and Diesel, but we're not sure," she told the magazine "[One option's] a really sweet Southern name that we might end up with. That's kind of in the lead right now, but we haven't decided completely yet."

The sports star turned model helped Team USA to grab a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Finch married baseball pitcher Daigle in 2005.
