'Star Wars: Battlefront' News & Update: Free And Paid DLC Details Revealed!; 'Bespin' Expansion To Include Two New Characters

When "Star Wars: Battlefront" was released in game stores, it was an immediate hit and the fans of the game are extremely happy of what the game developers have done to "Star Wars: Battlefront," little to no adjustments were needed some fans would say. The high rated "Star Wars: Battlefront" has had many updates from the time it was released up to now and players of "Star Wars: Battlefront" are not complaining when it comes to new updates for the game.

Just recently, the first downloadable content or expansion of "Star Wars: Battlefront" was revealed and it was called "Outer Rim" and fans went crazy over the downloadable content that made them crave for more downloadable content for "Star Wars: Battlefront." Now, the game developers over at DICE have revealed some new details as to what players of "Star Wars: Battlefront" can expect with the new free and downloadable content.

For the free downloadable content or expansion of "Star Wars: Battlefront," players can expect a new in-game events, which includes double XP weekends and many community missions. There will also be Hutt contracts in the free downloadable content of "Star Wars: Battlefront" that will help players earn more Star Cards.

DICE also announced that, during the release of the new "Star Wars: Battlefront," downloadable content the players of the video game will be given more options to play the game offline. As for "Star Wars: Battlefront" second paid expansion called "Bespin," the release date will be sometime in June.

"You'll see AT-ATs in Cloud City, take to the skies in Fighter Squadron, and even spend time in a carbonite chamber," DICE said about the expansion "Bespin." There will also be new weapons and Star Cards, a new game mode and new characters Lando Calrissian (Hero) and Dengar (Villain) in "Star Wars: Battlefront" "Bespin" expansion.
