A-list stars and personalities gathered at Staples Center in Los Angeles to witness Kobe Bryant's last game on Wednesday. As this was the Black Mamba's final take on the floor, his co-players, Hollywood stars and more sent their tribute to the retired NBA legend.
According to People, Magic Jonson started by introducing a special video for Kobe Bryant. Lamar Odom, who played with the starplayer of L.A. Lakers for seven seasons from 2004-2011, gave his heartfelt message.
"Bean, what's up? It's your little brother LO. I just want to tell you I love you. You had a great career," Lamar Odom said. "I'm proud to say I was right with you, Kobe Bean."
Lamar Odom attended Kobe Bryant's last game with his brother-in-law, Kanye West. The former husband of Khloe Kardashian and the 37-year-old basketball player are known to be good friends for a long time.
In fact, Kobe Bryant is one of the first people who visited Lamar Odom when he was hospitalized after suffering from an overdose accident at a Nevada brothel in October last year. Bryant told Los Angeles Times before that Odom is like a real brother to him, as published by Us Weekly.
Later, the known L.A. Lakers' superfan, Jack Nicholson, closed out the tribute by giving his honor for Kobe Bryant. "Kobe, goodbye. I think I may retire with ya. I'm not sure but it's been great watching you," "The Batman" star said, as per E! Online.
Jacks Nicholson also added he's hoping Kobe Bryant enjoyed his time in NBA as much as he and his family did. "You have been an inspiration to us all and L.A. loves you," the veteran actor asserted.
Magic Johnson, too, gave his share of honoring Kobe Bryant and hugged the latter before he started his final game. Meanwhile, other stars who gave their tribute to Bryant are Shaquille O'Neal, Pau Gasol, Stephy Curry and Lebron James, who have nothing but sweet words for him.
Snoop Dogg, Adam Levin and his wife, Behati Prinsloo were also there to witness Kobe Bryant's last court game. David Beckham along with his son, Brooklyn and Jay Z, too, graced the historical event.
