"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are among the most anticipated games this year. Fans have been waiting for the duo title with excitement. New reports suggest that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will include the Gold and Silver starter Pokemon.
Gold And Silver Starter Pokemon In "Pokemon Sun" And "Pokemon Moon"
According to The Bitbag, "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" surprised fans with three starter Pokemon from Red and Blue including Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle following their first gym battle. Since the said move was a hit, many are wondering if the Gold and Silver starter Pokemon will be included in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon."
Starters for Pokemon Gold and Silver include Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chikorita. Although these three are not as popular as their predecessors, they are very known because of their cute designs and impressive evolutions.
Since "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" gave players the starters from Red and Blue, it is just fitting for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" to give fans the starters from Gold and Silver. After all HeartGold and SoulSilver are very expensive and very challenging to find.
Another possible reason that makes Gold and Silver starter Pokemon perfect for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" is for their final forms to experience mega evolution. The starters from Red, Blue, Ruby and Sapphire all have mega evolutions. Thus, it is safe to assume that the same case will apply for Gold and Silver starter in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon."
Bored Waiting For "Pokemon Sun" And "Pokemon Moon"? Try Nuzlocke Challenge
If you are feeling down that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are still not available and you don't feel challenged with the main series of the Pokemon games, try to amp the difficulty level by tweaking its restrictions, Fansided advised.
Nuzlocke has been around for years, but not all are familiar with it. The challenge started from a 4chan user named "Nuzlocke" who out of his boredom with the Pokemon series combat it by giving himself two special rules as he played "Pokemon Ruby." His rules include: (1) If a Pokemon faints, you have to release it. (2) You can only catch the first Pokemon you encounter in each route.
Nuzlocke documented his progress which encouraged other Pokemon players to add their own rules. Some of the rules include not using any item, no Pokemon Centers or randomizing the starters with egg trades. Nicknaming Pokemon is another common practice.
