"Suits" Season 6 premiere episode spoilers reveal that the story will pick up from where things left off during the Season 5 finale. In an earlier interview with Yahoo! TV, Aaron Korsh said that the story would not be given any justice if they did a time jump after showing a cliffhanger.
Instead, "Suits" Season 6 episode 1 will focus on the characters' first night after Mike pleaded guilty. This meant that the first episode of the USA legal drama will show Mike's first night in prison while Harvey, Rachel, Louis, Donna and Jessica will be dealing with an empty firm when they return.
"The first night is about answering that question. Are these five people going to even be together at the end of the first night, or are they going to be shattered?" he said.
Patrick J. Adams also shared his excitement over his character's prison storyline. The "Suits" Season 6 actor noted on the possibility that Mike will do more than just reading books during his time in prison and hopefully, become the firm's investigator in the future.
"Yeah. I think that's where I'd head, and I think if he's going to be of use [to them], I don't really know how else he's going to do it," said Adams.
Deadline also reports on the latest "Suits" Season 6 casting news of Erik Palladino, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Paul Schulze. Palladino will play the role of Kevin Miller, who will eventually become Mike's friend in prison.
Warner will play Danbury Prison's counselor in "Suits" Season 6. Schulze will play Frank Gallo, who will orient Mike to life in prison. Will Mike get beaten up?
"Suits" Season 6 premieres in June 2016 on USA Network.
