Korean actor Song Joong Ki recently held his fifth fan meeting in Seoul after his drama, "Descendants of the Sun" came to an end. The 30-year-old actor shared his hopes and dreams during the fan meeting and admitted that he wants to get married in his thirties.
Song Joong Ki recently kicked off his Asian tour with his fifth fan meeting in Seoul called "The Day We Meet Again," reports Korea Herald. This would be Joong Ki's first fan meeting since he ended his military enlistment.
It was reported that 4,000 fans attended Song Joong Ki's fan meeting at the Grand Peace Hall in Kyung Hee University. Tickets to the said event immediately ran out on the same day the tickets were sold.
Fans who were lucky enough to score tickets to Song Joong Ki's fan meeting shared several clips and photos of the event. Song Joong Ki's best friend, Lee Kwang Soo made a special appearance during his fan meeting.
Park Bo Gum, who also comes from Blossom Entertainment, also surprised the "Descendants of the Sun" actor during the event. Park shared that Joong Ki thought he was in Taiwan all along and was not expecting him to arrive at the event.
Joong Ki also performed one of the songs from the "DOTS" OST "Always." He also told fans during the event that he hopes to get married in his thirties.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Kpop Herald, Song Joong Ki admitted that his "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Hye Kyo influenced him a lot while they were filming.
"Also, I think Song Hye-kyo influenced me the most, as she spent the most time with me during the filming. She was always considerate of everyone around her and her behavior is a living proof of why she is such a great star," he said.
Song Joong Ki recounted that the injury he sustained on set required him to rest for days but Song Hye Kyo volunteered to do all the difficult scenes on her own.
"Descendants of the Sun" will be airing three special episodes on April 20, 21 and 22 on KBS2.
