This Week’s New PS4 Games Include ‘Loud on Planet X,’ ‘Lichdom: Battlemage’ & ‘Invisible, Inc.”

Gamers will surely be glued to their seats with this week's fresh batch of PlayStation 4 games. The latest releases feature music-based tower defense, first-person adventure and turn-based espionage action.

According to the official PlayStation blog site, this week will see the console release of "Loud on Planet X," "Lichdom: Battlemage" and "Invisible, Inc." The last two games are already available on Microsoft Windows since 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Loud on Planet X

Developed by Pop Sandbox Games, "Loud on Planet X" delivers arcade-style gameplay with music from popular indie artists like CHVRCHES, Metric and Lights. Gamers choose from an assortment of tracks to defend their stage from an alien invasion. They can also turn random musical equipment into makeshift weapons and perform special combo attacks against the horde.

Lichdom: Battlemage

In "Lichdom: Battlemage," magic and strategy skills reign supreme. Gamers use a wide-array of spells to traverse a linear world linked by checkpoints and fast travel locations. Experience points can be gained by accomplishing certain goals using spells crafted from the game's eight main Sigils.

"Your spells are not assigned to you as if they are medicines prescribed by a doctor," said Kevin VanOrd of Game Spot. "Instead, you drive your own destiny by designing your spells using the various materials that occasionally rush to your body after a kill as if drawn to your magnetic personality."

He added that "Lichdom: Battlemage" is still visually appealing even in medium settings. However, the game uses motion blur more than it should. This will have gamers rushing to the game's visual options to try and reduce the discomfort.

Invisible, Inc.

"Invisible, Inc." is a turn-based strategy, stealth game developed by Klei Entertainment. Gamers control a group of special field agents as they infiltrate the world's most dangerous organizations. IGN pointed out that the game is a pressure cooker filled with risky and high-stakes decisions.
