Kate Middleton and Prince William once again has Camilla Parker-Bowles figuring between them. A book by Christopher Andersen called "Game Of Crowns" said that Camilla Parker-Bowles tried to cause Kate Middleton and Prince William to split up.
"Game Of Crowns" is not the first time that Camilla Parker-Bowles, along with her relationship with Kate Middleton and Prince William, has been painted under unflattering light. Camilla Parker-Bowles figured in comparisons to Princess Diana. Allegations also claimed discord with Queen Elizabeth and, popularly, with Kate Middleton and Prince William.
If "Game Of Crowns" is to be believed, the supposed competition between Camilla Parker-Bowles and Princess Diana over public affection was what drove Prince Charles' second wife to try and destroy the relationship between Kate Middleton and Prince William.
According to New York Daily News, "Game Of Crowns" claims that Camilla Parker-Bowles thought the popularity that Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed as a couple distracted the public from her own efforts to win the public over. "Game Of Crowns" says that Camilla Parker-Bowles was the main cause of the break-up between Kate Middleton and Prince William in 2007. In claims by "Game Of Crowns," Camilla Parker-Bowles and her ploy made the public fall more deeply in love with the love team of Kate Middleton and Prince William.
Daily Star reports that the Royal family is united despite the claims by "Game Of Crowns." A source close to Prince William himself reportedly said that the suppositions by "Game Of Crowns" are mere false claims. "None of his conclusions or insights into the Royals has credibility," the source said. "Wills and Charles have remained close and Camilla is a supportive stepmother."
Besides absolving Camilla Parker-Bowles from the allegations by "Game Of Crowns," the source also clarified that the break-up between Kate Middleton and Prince William years ago had been about the young royal's readiness for marriage at that time.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have moved successfully past that stage in their life and are building their family with children, Prince George and Prince Charlotte. Not only is Camilla Parker-Bowles supportive of her family, including Kate Middleton and Prince William, but is as much a part of the royal family's environmental and humanitarian efforts.
