"Fifty Shades Darker" movie is currently in production and several set photos have been released on social media. While the story is based on E.L. James' trilogy, there have been speculations that the movie will deviate from the books after seeing Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson wearing what appears to be wedding rings.
"Fifty Shades Darker" movie may deviate from the books, reports International Business Times. According to the publication, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan were recently spotted wearing silver bands on their left hands while filming some scenes for the upcoming installment of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie franchise.
Fans who have read the books are aware that Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele's engagement will not happen till the end of "Fifty Shades Darker" and their actual wedding will take place in "Fifty Shades Freed." This led to speculations that the movie will be deviating from the books and will focus on the couple's married life.
While it remains to be seen whether the couple will get married in "Fifty Shades Darker," other set photos showed Ana and Christian engaged in a heated conversation. According to Fashion & Style, recently released set photos showed that the two were arguing outside a building.
Several fans also posted what appears to be a timeline of the filming schedule for "Fifty Shades Darker." It can be seen that filming for the upcoming installment is scheduled to end on July 6.
The publication also notes on the possibility that the cast and crew are already filming both "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," which might explain the reason for Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan's wedding bands on set. This was reportedly done to keep up with the scheduled release dates after the movie went through several issues in casting and delays in production.
"Fifty Shades Darker" opens in theatres on Feb. 10, 2017.
