As Tom Hiddleston plays the role of an intelligence operative in "The Night Manager," many believe he's the perfect fit to be the next James Bond. The "High-Rise" star's character as Jonathan Pine fueled the speculations he will be the next 007.
"It's a huge compliment," Tom Hiddleston told USA Today about doing James Bond. "I wish there were some credence I could give [but] it only exists as an idea,"
However, the star that got famous as Loki cleared Daniel Craig is not yet officially leaving his trademark role as the secret service agent. "It's just none of my business. Daniel Craig is James Bond until further notice," Tom Hiddleston said.
Some fans compare Jonathan Pine to James Bond but, for the "Thor" actor, they have big differences. Tom Hiddleston explained that James Bond is an experienced and licensed assassin; a far comparison from Jonathan Pine, who embodies different personalities.
Tom Hiddleston added Jonathan Pine has the ability to destroy himself and connecting the two characters is quite impossible. However, he clarified that he is not yet being asked to take the role of James Bond.
"I haven't been approached, I haven't been invited," Tom Hiddleston revealed. I think I'll only know the answer to that question if that ever happens, which it well may not."
Meanwhile, Time reported that "The Night Manager" is an effective mini-series on AMC. As per reports, "The Night Manager" has $5 million budget every episode. "The Night Manager" director, Susanne Bier, headed her TV crew to different places like, England, Middle East and the Mediterranean, to shoot the show.
"The Night Manager" is quite like a 6-hour James Bond movie and now popular in England. In fact, Tom Hiddleston surfaced the internet as he exposed his behind in a steamy bed scene that earned him a hashtag, #Hiddlesbum.
