Chris Hemsworth Rewarded Teenager $10,000 For Returning Lost Wallet; 'Thor' Appreciates A Good Deed

Chris Hemsworth lost his wallet at an airport and probably expected never to see it again. Luckily, a 17-year-old teenager found "Thor's" wallet, returned it and received $10,000 for his good deed.

Chris Hemsworth's Lost Wallet

Huffington Post reported that Chris Hemsworth no longer expected to find his wallet. He treated it good as gone. However, Tristin Budzyn-Barker, 17, saved the day. The teenager returned his wallet with all the contents intact. The "Avengers" actor, upon receiving his wallet, emptied the contents and gave all the money he had to the teenager.

Chris Hemsworth Emptied Lost Wallet

"It's empty now," said the 17-year-old. He was clearly in shock when Chris Hemsworth gave him all the money the actor had in his wallet. Chris Hemsworth, who must have inculcated his role as a superhero, said that he expected his wallet empty upon being returned to him. The actor must have felt it proper to give the teen all the contents of his wallet.

"Thor" didn't miss out on surprising the teenager. Tristin already felt shocked when he discovered that the lost wallet he found belonged to Chris Hemsworth. Barker received another shock when the actor emptied out his wallet for him. Still, the good deed reward didn't end there.

More Rewards For Returning Chris Hemsworth's Lost Wallet

The 17-year-old got the chance to be at the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" together with his mom. Chris Hemsworth recounted the story of his lost wallet during the show, and Tristin got the opportunity of his life to be on stage, said Mashable.

Aside from the cash reward that Tristin received from Chris Hemsworth, Ellen DeGeneres also decided to give an extra reward to the good deed. Right there on the show, the teenager received $10,000, and he also got a letter of recommendation from Chris Hemsworth, for his bid to become an Eagle Scout.

"You're an amazing young man, and thank you for being such a honest guy," Ellen DeGeneres said. Tristin's honesty really paid off.
