According to Daily Mail, the club's president Florentino Perez is eager to keep their all-time goalscorer since Paris Saint-Germain is ready to offer €100 million (£80 million) for his services.
The extension deal came amid the reports that Real Madrid was considering selling Cristiano Ronaldo this summer. But with the latest offer, Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez and Spanish forward Isco could be sold in his place.

There have been rumors that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has its eyes on Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Based on the recent claims, Ronaldo had reportedly met with PSG president Nasser El-Khelaifi at the Hotel Bourget last week, Daily Mirror notes.
Additionally, the said meeting was allegedly the fifth get-together between the two parties. However, Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes denied the PSG meeting, ESPN FC reports.
"Cristiano and PSG is a non-story," a spokesman at Mendes' management agency told Goal.

Aside from PSG, Cristiano Ronaldo is also on the radar of Manchester United, his team from 2003 to 2009. But with the latest reports, Ronaldo's Manchester United comeback appears grim.
