Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie appear to be on good terms despite the recent news that the couple has decided to split after three years of marriage.
The 26-year-old actress and 33-year-old NHL player were spotted pounding the pavement with their 1-year-old son Luca in New York City, where Duff is shooting the pilot for TV Land's "Younger in New York."
In pictures captured by Splash News, the couple seemed to be enjoying each other's company as they made their way through New York's snow-covered streets.
The sighting is not the first of the couple since they split, suggesting they've taken their pledge to remain close seriously.
"Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation," Duff's rep said in a statement sent to E! News at the time of the announcement. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."
While the decision to divorce may have been amicable, it was far from easy for the pair who were considered a stronghold among celebrity couples.
"Mike and I are sitting here, we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes. Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together," Duff tweeted Jan. 10.
Duff acquired a number of small roles starting in 1998 before breaking onto the big stage in 2001 as the protagonist in Disney's "Lizzie McGuire." In 2009, she played the role of Olivia Burke in "Gossip Girl," appearing in a total of six episodes. She also made a brief appearance on the show "Community" in 2010 and "Two and a Half Men" in 2013.
