UFC 200 News & Update: Nate Diaz Doesn’t Want To Fight Anybody Else But Conor McGregor

Fans went crazy when UFC president Dana White pulled out MMA superstar Conor McGregor from the UFC 200 main event. Unfortunately for White, Nate Diaz is not willing to fight anybody else but Conor McGregor.

"I came here to fight Conor," Nate Diaz explains during a news conference via ESPN. "I'm not really interested in anyone else."

The chaos and confusion regarding the UFC 200 main event started when Conor McGregor tweeted that he is planning to retire young. The Irish fighter also failed to attend the promotion for the highly-anticipated event.

However, Conor McGregor clarified that he is not planning to retire at all. The reason why he did not attend the promotional conference for UFC 200 is because of his desire to focus all of his attention to training for the fight.

"I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting," McGregor wrote on Facebook via ESPN. The most famous UFC fighter in the world also noted that his greater emphasis on training is due to his recent loss to Diaz during their first fight.

Nate Diaz defeated Conor McGregor convincingly via a rear-naked choke submission in the second round of their first fight back in March, MMA Fighting reports. McGregor has promised revenge while Diaz promised to win again for their rematch on UFC 200. Fight fans can only hope that the rematch will pull through.
