Kristen Bell of 'House of Lies' Pregnant

Celebrity couple Kristen Bell and fiancé Dax Shepard are going to be parents.

"They're so excited - they're both ecstatic. They can't wait to become parents," a close friend of the couple told People magazine.

This is the first child of the couple who started dating in 2007. The baby is due in late spring.

"Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now," the source continued to the People.

Shepard and Bell, who got engaged in 2010, are planning to stay unmarried until the state of Califronia make same-sex marriage, legal.

"[We're not] punishing America by not getting married," CNN quoted Shepard, as saying earlier this year, while promoting their film "Hit and Run." "We're not going to have a party when half of our friends ... can't do that thing we're doing. We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don't have. That's just tacky! Forget like anything else, it's like really tacky for us."

Bell started her acting career as Becky Thatcher in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" in 2001 and grabbed many awards including Satellite Award and Saturn Award. Currently she is playing the female lead role on television series "House of Lies."

Shepard, who appeared with Jessica Simpson in "Employee of the Month" also co-starred with "Let's Go to Prison" and "Baby Mama." Presently he's playing a lead role in NBC's "Parenthood."
