George RR Martin Will Launch "The Winds of Winter" Next Month
"The Winds of Winter" is long overdue. In fact, fans have been waiting for it for four years and counting. Some are so disappointed because its TV adaptation, "Game of Thrones" is more advanced than the book, which typically don't happen but in this case, it did.
For Martin's fans who are dying to run their hands through the pages of "The Winds of Winter," it is possible that the book will be released in May per Christian Times. The report springs from the Bitbag that suggested that "TWOW" might be arriving next month.
George RR Martin Also Wants To Get "TWOW" Done
Last year, George RR Martin targeted to finish "The Winds of Winter" before "Game of Thrones" season 6. In fact, he cancelled two conventional appearances and turned down some invitation to focus on "TWOW."
"I wish it was out now. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish," he told Entertainment Weekly. Unfortunately, early this year, George RR Martin announced that dreaded news that "The Winds of Winter" fans hate to hear, the book is not yet done and that he is still months away from the finish line.
George RR Martin Blames Age For The Delay Of "The Winds of Winter"
In this statement, George Martin explained the delay of "The Winds of Winter" which blamed to his travels, blogs and previous commitments including his age. "You can blame my age, and maybe that had an impact too," he wrote on his blog. The "TWOW" writer stressed that sometimes writing goes well and sometimes it does not.
Parent Herald previously reported that George RR Martin would not be accepting any project to finish "The Winds of Winter." New reports suggest that it might arrive before "GoT" season 7 and other sources claimed it might arrive next month.
