How NRG Picks Their New "League of Legends" Members

Per the report, NRG reached out to Santorin after learning that Team Huma is planning to offload him due to financial issues. Santorin initially chose Team Ember over NRG and Renegades but ended with NRG to replace Galen "Moon" Holgate for the summer.

As for KiWiKid, the team has been looking for support since Johnny "Altec" Ru notified the team management that they need one over Kevin "KonKwon" Kwon. The management replaced Altec and KonKwon. Per iDigitalTimes, NRG made a great decision for choosing KiWiKid because he is a career veteran. In fact, he is the longest active NA LCS player. KiWiKid is very knowledgeable with "League of Legends" and has concrete ideas with the ins and outs of his champion pool.

Meanwhile, Renegades reached out to Quas but he chose to be with NRG and fill its top lane. Per Kotaku, the "League of Legends" pro Quas was suspended from Team Liquid. His sudden exit initially confused and upset fans. Quas explained that he was suffering from depression and anxiety and opted to quit from "League of Legends."

"Having just turned 24 I've thought out my options; I've decided to retire from professional gaming and in turn pursue other passions in my life," Quas wrote. "As far as my future - I'm still figuring out the details but for now I'm looking to pursue a medical career."
