Since the time Google started to make their own line of Android phones called Nexus, HTC has always been one of the best manufacturers to get the bid in creating the devices. It has been known that Nexus One was created by HTC and the succeeding models were created by other manufacturers that partnered with Google.
Codename: Nexus M1, Nexus S1
Twitter user Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, said in a Twitter post that HTC has been making two Android N-phones for Google, codenamed M1 and S1. The suggested codenames seemed to point towards a Nexus Android device because of the number "1."

Could it really be possible that Google will release the Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 privately manufactured by HTC? Android Police supported the idea that the following codenames are Marlin and Sailfish, which follows the trend done by Google in naming their Nexus devices.
It has been reportedly said that the Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 could probably be in line with the Google's Pixel line. They want to have more control over the Nexus program by applying their pioneering Pixel designs into the new Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 handsets.
Rumors Remain Unconfirmed
Remembering the rumors that started in January this year, it's just a matter of time for Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 to materialize. GSM Arena has mentioned that these 2 Nexus device will be running with the most awaited Android N operating system.
Basing on the spreading rumors, either one of the Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 could possibly be sporting a screen size of 5 inches, while the other would be half an inch larger. However, neither Google or HTC confirmed on any surfacing information. Sad to say, the manufacturers have been very tight lipped on the rumors about Nexus M1 and Nexus S1.
Even though gadget fanatics are sure that there are exciting features and specs that will be applied in these new Nexus devices, still there are no leaked information about it. As of writing, there are no exact release dates given out yet by Google and HTC for Nexus M1 and Nexus S1 Android phones but it could possibly be within this year.
