"Grey's Anatomy" fans are still moving on from Patrick Dempsey's departure from the series in Season 11 as Derek Shepherd, but it looks like fans should brace themselves for another shocking finale. In a recent interview with TVLine, actress Kelly McCreary hinted on a potential disaster during the season finale, reports Carter Matt.

"There's definitely a potential disaster ... There's a lot of disaster potential, let's put it that way," she said.

The publication notes on the possibility that "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 may bid farewell to another one of its major characters during the finale. This comes in the wake of Derek Shepherd's death in Season 11, which sent a lot of fans and viewers into a state of mourning.

McCreary's statements also seemed to coincide with Sara Ramirez's cryptic post on Twitter. According to Entertainment Weekly, Ramirez, who plays the role of Dr. Callie Torres on "Grey's Anatomy," has seemingly hinted on her departure.

It remains to be seen whether Ramirez was simply celebrating the end of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 or if she was already hinting on her character's demise or departure in the finale. A spokesperson for the show also refused to comment on Ramirez's tweet.

The publication, however, notes that Ramirez's contract was up in June and her contract may still be renewed. If Ramirez decides to exit "Grey's Anatomy" after Season 12, however, then this will mark the series' third major character exit after Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh.
