There is no other book that is as wanted as "The Winds of Winter." While fans are slowly losing hope about "TWOW's" release date, many are still positive about it. Well, you should, because according to new reports, "The Winds of Winter" will have a new hero and it's not who you're thinking.
Stannis Will Be The New Hero In "The Winds of Winter"
The hype about "The Winds of Winter" recuperates with the return of "Game of Thrones" season 6. Many "TWOW" fans are concerned that the show will leak major spoilers in the upcoming book, now that the book is behind. However, "GoT" production denied and explained that the show will not be following the plot of "TWOW."
Parent Herald previously reported that there will be a plot difference between "The Winds of Winter" and "Game of Thrones" Season 6. There's a storyline that it is impossible to show in the TV series because it involved a dead character that is still alive in the book.
"So the show cannot do this, unfortunately, because they have killed a character that I have not killed," George RR Martin told IGN.
The Bitbag agreed that there are lots of characters that "GoT" killed. Among them are Stannis Baratheon and Barristan Selmy. Emergency Awesome speculates that Stannis will have victory in the Winterfell battle but will eventually lose to the White walker. Stannis will be a hero for a time in "The Winds of Winter", but he will not succeed in claiming the Iron throne and in ruling the seven kingdoms.
Tyrion Will Rebuild The Kingdom In "TWOW"
Aside from Stannis, Tyrion is another key character in "The Winds of Winter." George RR Martin earlier claimed that Tyrion is his favorite character and per the report, he might survive in the series.
Although Tyrion is low key compared to other characters, his cunning personality will likely help him survive until the end. The video also mentioned that Tyrion will rebuild the kingdoms after the wars.
So, the new heroes in "The Winds of Winter" are not Daenerys or Jon Snow, but per the reports it could be Stannis Baratheon and Tyrion. Were you surprised? Share your thoughts below.
Meanwhile, new reports claim that "The Winds of Winter" might be out next month. Let's see.
