'Persona 5' News & Update: Atlus Announced a Live Stream On May 5

Many fans and gamers are looking forward to "Persona 5" and based on the recent reports, there will be a big reveal about the game next week. There will be a live stream for "Persona 5" on May 5.

"Persona 5" Will Have A Livestream On May 5

The official "Persona 5" website has been showing a countdown and it will end with a live stream for the upcoming title. Siliconera reported that Atlus will be hosting a special NicoNico Live stream for "Persona 5" on May 5 at 9 p.m. JST. That is 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET/ 12:30 p.m. GMT.

They posted a poster which reads, "I will take Tokyo Tower on May 5th" which is addressed to the main protagonist of "Persona 5," the Phantom. The Phantom has already made several appearances in "Persona" events.

Atlus May Reveal "Persona 5's" Release Date

Atlus has not released additional detail about the live stream or about the game. However, per IGN, there are chances that Atlus will finally reveal the release date of "Persona 5" on the said event.

"Persona 5" was initially expected to arrive in 2015 but was delayed and moved to summer 2016. Unfortunately, at the time, there is no update about the title's release date.

"Persona 5" Website Hacked

Speaking of the release date of "Persona 5," Parent Herald previously reported that the title's official website was hacked. It seemed that the hacker was so into "Persona 5" and wanted when the title will be coming out. He posted a fake release date on the website, which was set to July 8 and even announced that "Persona 5" will have a PC version.
