Megan Fox gave birth to her first son Noah Shannon in September. But she kept the news a secret for almost a month, before breaking the news through her Facebook page in October.
Just how was the actress and her husband, actor Brian Austin Green able to keep the secret for such a long time?
"I've been wanting to send Reese Witherspoon flowers for, like, a month and a half now, cause she actually gave birth [the same day as] us in Santa Monica," People magazine quoted Green telling Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Tuesday. "We were lucky enough to go in at 2:30 in the morning to the hospital and nobody knew."
The couple, who kept mum on the pregnancy and other baby news were relieved that the media was busy with Witherspoon's birth and didn't notice.
"We got out of the hospital and nobody knew. We got home and thought, 'This is unbelievable.' We weren't expecting to be able to get away with it," Green said. "We were expecting all the [paparazzi] guys in the hallways and the parking structure.
"So we just figured we would go with it as long as we could. Until [E! News] found out first and we thought, 'Okay, let's put something on Facebook then.'"
During the birth announcement posted on her Facebook account, Fox mentioned being "very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home" before she could announce the happy news herself.
Fox began dating Green after meeting him first on the set of "Hope & Faith." The couple got engaged in 2006, had a short split in 2009, but got engaged again in 2010, the couple tied the knot in the same year.
