"Prison Break" Season 5 may premiere sooner than what most fans and viewers are expecting. According to The Express Tribune, Faran Tahir, who has recently been tapped to play Jamil, revealed the airdate for the Fox revival.
"I will be playing the recurring role of Jamil on 'Prison Break: Sequel' (Mini TV Series) Season 5 which is expected to air from September 2016," Tahir wrote.
This came as a good news to fans and viewers who have been anxiously waiting for the release of the "Prison Break" revival on TV after the show came to an end in 2009. Tahir also expressed his excitement over the show's storyline and the way the story has been taken forward after Michael (Wentworth Miller) seemingly died during the Season 4 finale.
"The beauty of the show is the reunion of all these loved characters with the inclusion of some new ones. What I can say is that the story has been taken forward in a very smart way," he said.
Meanwhile, "Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers hint on the possibility that Michael is imprisoned in Yemen, reports International Business Times. Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) will discover that Michael is still alive and will devise a plan for what appears to be the "biggest escape ever."
It also seems like Lincoln will be suffering from an accident in "Prison Break" Season 5. Purcell recently shared a photo of him together with his body double, who is lying on the hood of a car.
