Kate Middleton on the cover of Vogue U.K. has been reaping mixed reactions for the Duchess of Cambridge. A report suggested that Kate Middleton is especially careful with her wardrobe in such shoots as the Duchess Of Cambridge is conscious about appearing too thin.
Body shaming and wardrobe issues proliferate and Kate Middleton is not exempt. Most especially because being a member of the royal family automatically tags the Duchess of Cambridge for public attention.

The media outlet points out that the Duchess of Cambridge walks in the footsteps of Princess Diana who appeared in Vogue four times. The Duchess of Cambridge received support from the Kensington Palace social media account, which displayed a tweet about the impeccably styled Kate Middleton on Vogue U.K. The Duchess of Cambridge kept the Vogue U.K. photoshoot quiet. Kate Middleton appearing in the fashion magazine for Vogue U.K.'s 100th anniversary issue was kept a surprise.

The Daily Mail, however, suggests that the Vogue U.K. cover and photoshoot did not do Kate Middleton justice. The Vogue UK spread depicted Kate Middleton as a countryside beauty rather than a trendsetting Princess. Although beautiful and expensive, the shots did not represent Kate Middleton as the fashion icon that she has become since becoming Duchess Of Cambridge.

But she has baulked at looking in any way sexy or modern. She has also refused to give up her heavy Scouse brow, not toning down the black make-up that's more Katie Price than Kate Windsor.
The Daily Mail suggested that Kate Middleton may also have made the decisions on the clothes in which the Duchess Of Cambridge appeared. Interestingly, the media outlet proposed that Kate Middleton did not want to bare too much skin as the Duchess Of Cambridge feared appearing too thin.
