Kate Middleton: Get A Glimpse Of The Duchess Of Cambridge Vogue Cover; Talks About Princess Charlotte's 1st Birthday

Kate Middleton will be featured as the cover girl of British Vogue. The Duchess of Cambridge will be featured on the cover of the magazine's 100th issue.

According to Vogue, Kate Middleton will be making an appearance in a 10-page shoot. The photos were taken by Josh Olins which would be released on Vogue's June 2016.

The photos were taken on the Queen's Sandringham estate. It was mentioned that Kate Middleton herself was hands on in terms of choosing her photoshoot pieces. During her interview with Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, Vogue's editor-in-chief stated that she enjoyed working with Kate Middleton.

"It's a huge honor and incredibly exciting for us to have HRH The Duchess of Cambridge featuring on the cover of British Vogue and as part of our centenary issue," Shulman said. "For me personally it has been a wonderful experience to have had the opportunity to work with her on this, and I am immensely proud of what we have produced."

"This special issue of the magazine is very close to my heart as it had to reflect on 100 years of British Vogue," Alexandra Shulman continued. "And so I am hugely grateful that we have been able to continue with our tradition of outstanding royal portraiture with these pictures."

Aside from being featured on Vogue, Kate Middleton dished out exciting personal details as well. The duchess gave out a sneak peek as to what Princess Charlotte's first birthday would be like. The palace officially released her pre-birthday photos.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter celebrated her birthday on May 2, Monday. There are were several suggestions as to what the theme would be. People revealed that the royal couple would possible chose a gender neutral theme, but it was not yet confirmed.

"I think they will definitely have some sort of theme, maybe something gender-neutral like animals or pretty gingham cotton bunting with elegant lunch settings and canapés for the adults," Sarah Dixon, a maternity nurse working for the royal couple's friends told People.
