Cartoon Network recently released the trailer for the said event and while every scene left many fans with more theories and speculations, many were curious about the hand, which appeared at the end of the video. Cartoon Network surprised many viewers when the network announced that "Steven Universe" Season 3 will be returning a month earlier than what most fans expected. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show will premiere on May 12 with two back-to-back 30-minute special.
The trailer for the "Steven Universe" Season 3 event called "In Too Deep," which will last for four weeks, was also released. Movie Pilot did an in-depth review of the said trailer, including episode titles for the upcoming season.
"Steven Universe" Season 3 will premiere with the episode titled "Super Watermelon Island," which will then be followed by another episode "Gem Drill." The episode titled "Barn Mates" and "Same Old World" will air on May 19 and May 26, respectively.
One of the things that fans and viewers are wondering is whether the Crystal Gems will finally reach the Cluster in "Steven Universe" Season 3. The publication notes that there is a possibility that the Crystal Gems have already reached (or are close to reaching) their destination, as Peridot says "The Cluster" in an ominous tone.
A lot of fans also began to wonder whether there will be a new gem villain in "Steven Universe" Season 3, as there was a hand at the end of the trailer. There is also the impending arrival of Yellow Diamond on Earth and most-awaited battle between the Malachite and Alexandrite.
