'Blacklist' Season 3 Spoilers, News & Update: Liz Is Alive, Megan Boone To Return In Season 4

Many fans were shocked by Liz's death in the previous "The Blacklist" season 3 episode. Liz is a significant character in "The Blacklist" and her sudden death was something many did not expect. However, according to new reports, Liz will return in "The Blacklist" season 4.

Here's Why Liz Is Still Alive In 'The Blacklist' Series

Per TV Guide Elizabeth "Liz" Keene's (Megan Boone) death in "The Blacklist" season 3 is a red flag. It was unexpected and why would the franchise kill her character in such a way? "The Blacklist" fans are aware that Liz's death was not clear. The whole story is left in the dark. In fact, the Task Force is seeking justice for her.

Parent Herald previously reported that Liz faked her death. One "The Blacklist" fan is so certain that Liz faked her death. The fan speculated that Liz and Kaplan planned this and they kept if from everyone, including Red, so Liz can disappear and investigate who is after her.

"Mark my words, she faked her own death. And this also conveniently leaves Tom free for the spin-off," Laura, "The Blacklist" fan wrote.

Other sources claimed that Red was behind Liz's fake death as a protective measure to allow her to use her real-life maternity leave. This reason also sounds logical given that Boone just gave birth to her daughter, Caroline, last month.
