After the legendary singer, Prince passed away on April 21, Heir Hunter received several phone calls claiming that they are related to the singer. The heir to Prince's multi-million estate is already being investigated.
Following Prince's death, the search for his heir continues as he was not married, nor did be publicly declare having children. His sister, Tyka Nelson stated that her Prince was not able to leave a will or trust before his passing as per ABC News.
"We have received hundreds of calls, emails and letters from people claiming to be either a child of Prince's or offspring of Prince's father," Heir Hunters explained. Obviously, they all can't be genuine claims, but we have established that at least two seem to be legitimate and will need further investigation. One person claims to be Prince's child and another claims to be offspring of Prince's father. If there is a child, if Prince had one single child, that child will take all the inheritance. We think that more likely than not these claims are genuine, but both need further investigation."
As the investigation progressed, Nelson stated that Prince could possibly have heirs who could inherit his lingering riches. As of this date, Prince's estate is on temporary trust until the heir to his properties would be identified.
According to Yahoo News! A person from Minnesota could possible Prince's heir. There's a huge possibility that he might be the late singer's son, giving him a chance to receive the inheritance. As the investigation moved forward, however, it was proven that the man's claim was false.
The investigators were back at square one as they ran out of leads. Speculations then emerged that Prince's sibling could possibly inherit the fortune that the singer left.
The music industry was shocked after another death of a legendary musician surfaced. Prince was found dead in his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis. He died on April 21 at the age of 57.
