Players of “The Division” have been reporting glitches and cheating issues. Recently, Ubisoft Massive announced that it is taking the necessary steps to solve the existing problems.
“We are aware that Daily Missions are missing once again today," the official "The Division" account on Twitter stated. "A permanent solution to this recurring problem is being looked into.”
'The Division' Glitches
IGN reports that players of the third-person shooter game have also noticed that the Daily Missions are missing time and again. The various problems on "The Division" started surfacing in mid-April 2016. Patch 1.1 also came with a variety of its own issues.
The game developer noted that it is aware of the issue and that it is currently searching for a permanent solution to the recurring problem. Ubisoft also provided some compensation for the missing Daily Missions before.
They might provide the same kind of benefits to aggrieved "The Division" gamers or a better solution. According to Reddit user TigeroftheWind, who checked the source code, the game programmers erroneously provided an entry for Apr. 31, 2016, a date that does not exist on the calendar, resulting in the missing Daily Missions.
Ubisoft is expected to provide a quick fix to the issue so "The Division" players can continue enjoying Daily Missions. The game developer reportedly updated the daily list already to avoid the same issue from happening again.
Cheating Problems Ensue
Based on another IGN report, “The Division” also suffers from cheating problems. According to a former Sony developer, the network setup of the game is the cause of cheating activities. At the end of April, Ubisoft provided some measures on how to counter cheating and also laid out penalties for players who are caught violating the rules.
A new detection system has been prepared to detect "The Division" players who use cheat engines while playing. Reportedly, several cheaters have already been spotted and Ubisoft is about to lay out the biggest number of bans and suspensions soon.
Those who are caught cheating will be suspended for 14 days for their first offense. Players who continue to cheat will be permanently banned from the game.
Ubisoft Aims To Enhance Gaming Experience
Furthermore, Ubisoft Massive will keep all known bug exploits in public forum threads, while new exploits will immediately be confirmed. "The Division" players who are found to have repeatedly used the exploit may be punished with permanent banning, character rollbacks or account suspensions. However, those who accidently experience bugs while playing should not be concerned.
More updates and details on “The Division” are expected soon. Stay tuned to Parent Herald for more updates via Twitter and Facebook!
