Television host, Oprah Winfrey responded to one of her follower's tweets on Twitter, asking if she could give her a dress, according to reports.
A few weeks ago, a woman, by the name of Brandi or @Snobaby28 on Twitter tweeted Oprah upon seeing ESSENCE's March cover featuring the TV host, along with Forest Whitaker, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael B. Jordan.
Brandi, who is from Atlanta, tweeted: "@oprah you look beautiful in that essence cover pic. WOW. CAN I please have that dress? Cuz I know u won't wear again lol luv u.
Oprah responded: "@snobaby28 you're right I won't wear ever again contact my asst. and show her this tweet."
Once again, Brandi replied and said: "@Oprah THANK YOU!!! You are truly a blessing. Sitting alone in sadness and you have brightened my day. Bless U."
After contacting Oprah's assistant, Brandi was able to receive the dress in less than a week. She thanked Oprah on Twitter: "@Oprah THANK YOU!! Recv beautiful dress. Plan to wear at my wedding when I find a groom lol but will twt pic wearing it soon. Luv u to life!"
The dress was made by Brian Rennie for Basler gown.
ABC News tried contacting Brandi for a comment but she has not replied yet.
In the past, Oprah has surprised her fans with random gifts. On her show, she has given away cars, trips and even some of her most favorite things.
ESSENCE's March 2014 issue features a star-studded Black Hollywood Now portfolio where each actor discussed their craft and how they got into character for the powerful characters they played in 2013.
In her latest film, The Butler, Oprah was informed by her acting coach that she needed to be sexier. In the magazine she shared: "I don't think of myself as sexy and I'm not even sure how one is sexy."
