Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs Wedding: Kristen Stewart Embraces Ex; Actress Happy For Robert

The reunion between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart took place after so many years, as the former couple had a recent run-in at the Met Gala. What was more interesting than the said reunion, however, was the actress' gesture towards her ex-boyfriend and his fiancé, FKA Twigs.

Kristen Stewart finally came face-to-face with her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson and his fiancé FKA Twigs at the Met Gala, reports Inquisitr. While most people were expecting an awkward run-in between the former couple, sources claim that the 26-year-old actress surprised everyone when she openly embraced Pattinson.

"[Kristen] was just overjoyed to see Rob. They both were happy to see each other," said the insider.

The hug that took place between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reportedly left FKA Twigs puzzled at first. However, the "Equals" actress broke the tension when she approached Twigs and went to their table for a brief chat.

This seemingly puts an end to rumors that Stewart is bitter over Pattinson's engagement with FKA Twigs. Previous rumors claimed that Stewart is having a hard time committing to a serious relationship after her breakup with her "Twilight" co-star.

An insider told HollywoodLife.com, however, that Stewart only wishes nothing but happiness for both Pattinson and Twigs. According to the publication, Stewart believes that the 29-year-old actor deserves to be happy after she cheated on him with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.

"From what she could see they are perfect for one another, and when they greeted each other it was all very pleasant and there was no animosity now because it's all water under the bridge," said the publication's source.
