Best male supporting actor, Jared Leto, thinks Jennifer Lawrence's 'stumble' at the Oscars may have just been an 'act,' according to reports.
Just last week, Jennifer Lopez was seen falling in her Dior gown while waving to her fans on the Oscars red carpet. Before she presented the Best Actor award, she was shown yelling at someone in the audience. She said: "Why are you laughing? What? Is this funny?"
Leto explained the moment to Access Hollywood and said that Lawrence was actually scolding him and his family, who were laughing in their seats.
Jared said: "She said, 'What are you laughing at?' But what she didn't know was that Ellen (DeGeneres) was on the side making, pantomiming motions like, 'Don't fall, don't fall,' and my mom and my brother were all cracking up. I guess we don't have any manners. You can take them out of Louisiana but you can't take Louisiana out of them, right?"
Leto also weighed in on Jennifer's red carpet fall, a 'stint' that happened at last year's Oscars as well. Last year, she tripped on her Dior gown as she was about to go up the stage to receive her Best Actress award for "The Silver Linings Playbook." He said: "You know, I'm starting to wonder if this is a bit of an act."
Lawrence became the most tweeted-about star during this year's Oscars ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter and a lot of the tweets, the publication confirmed were about her stumble.
The publication, among many others, also considered her as the best dressed celebrity of the night.
There were approximately 14.7 million tweets that came in worldwide containing terms related ot the ceremony, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
