Aaron Korsh's legal drama TV series "Suits" is on hiatus. However, fans should rejoice because the show will soon return to the small screens. According to reports, "Suits" season 6 will return in July.
'Suits' Season 6 Premieres On July
"Suits" fans should rejoice because "Suits" season 6 is just two months away. The acclaimed legal drama is set to return on July 13, Entertainment Weekly reported. Thus, the wait will not be long.
Parent Herald previously reported that "Suits" season 6 would pick up where the last season left off. '"We're coming back right where we left off," "Suits" creator Aaron Korsh told the Hollywood Reporter. "We'll often always think about a time jump and then a flashback, but then we counter with wondering why we just don't pick it up there in the first place."
Mike To Face The Harsh Realities Of Prison Life In 'Suits' Season 6
It is given that Mike will spend some time behind bars in "Suits" season 6. However, his stay in jail might not be that smooth. "After signing a plea deal to spare his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike will be confronted with the harsh realities of prison life as he starts his two-year sentence," USA teased per Enstarz reported.
In a separate interview, Korsh told the Hollywood Reporter that "Suits" Season 6 will not focus on Mike getting a law degree in prison but on his survival in his new environment. "The topic of what happens to him in prison is not in large measure him getting his law degree," Korsh said.
"That's not the focus of Mike's journey in prison," he continued. "It's more about him surviving and then he has a turn. There are a few twists and turns. But he's not a jailhouse lawyer, so to speak."
Meanwhile, Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Donna and Rachel will work together to continue the Pearson Specter Litt law firm. There are reports that the firm will survive even without Mike.
